Reservation requests
Let catalogue visitors pick items and send you a request. Nothing is reserved without you.
A buyer interested in several items usually has to copy their names into a message. With reservation requests, they tick them in your catalogue and send you their request.
Turn requests on
In the catalogue editor, Presentation part: Let visitors send a reservation request. It is off by default, catalogue by catalogue.
Visitor side
Each available item gets a Select box. A bar “3 items selected · Send a request” opens a short form:
- their name;
- how to reach them (email or phone);
- a message, optional.
No payment, no account: “Your request is sent. The seller will get back to you.”
Seller side
Requests arrive in Catalog › Reservation requests, with the number to answer. The bell lets you know too.
Each request shows the date, the catalogue, the name, the contact, the message, and the requested items with their current availability.
| Action | Effect |
|---|---|
| Create a listing | Opens listing creation with the items still available: their stock is then reserved the usual way. |

| Decline | The request is declined. |
| Reopen | Brings back a handled request. |
A request reserves nothing
Stock does not change until you create a listing or record a sale. Only items in the catalogue and available can be requested.
Privacy and abuse
- The visitor's name, contact and message go to you only. Handled or declined requests are erased after 90 days, any request after 180 days at the latest.
- Sending is limited to prevent abuse (number of requests and items).
