What explains your figures. The app's “?” buttons lead here.

Purchase lots

Each purchase of an item forms a lot with its price, date and supplier. When you sell, Aeon takes received units first, then the oldest lot: the margin uses the real cost of those units.

3 cards bought at €10, then 2 at €15: two lots. Selling a card uses the €10 cost while the first lot has units left.

Inventory and personal collection

Inventory holds what you resell: it counts in your results and tax documents. The personal collection keeps what you hold on to, apart from your business.

A display kept for yourself goes to the personal collection; if you sell it one day, move it to inventory.

Reserved units

An active listing reserves its units: they cannot be sold elsewhere or removed from stock. One reservation is enough, even across several platforms.

5 copies, 2 listed on Vinted and eBay: 2 reserved, 3 available. Withdrawing the listing frees the 2.

Floor price

The price below which a sale loses money: purchase cost, the platform's estimated fees and postage.

Bought at €20, 10% fees and €4 postage: floor ≈ €26.67, since 10% of €26.67 is €2.67.

Incomplete purchase cost

When a sold item's purchase price is unknown, Aeon never replaces it with 0: the margin is flagged as estimated until you fill in the cost.

A €50 sale with no known cost shows “estimated margin”. Add the €30 purchase price and the margin becomes €20.

Market value and profit

Market value is what your stock is worth today: an unrealised estimate. Profit comes from completed sales. Aeon never adds them together.

Stock valued at €1,000 and €300 profit this month: you earned €300, not €1,300. Value only becomes profit when you sell.

DAC7

A European rule: each platform reports to the tax authorities the sellers who reach 30 sales or exceed €2,000 in a calendar year. Aeon tracks these thresholds platform by platform.

28 sales for €1,500 on Vinted: below the thresholds. Two more sales and Vinted reports you, even if you made no profit.
