Getting started
Home
What is waiting for you, your stock value and your results, never mixing potential and realised.
Home answers two questions: what should I do now? and how is my business doing?

To do
The To do card lists pending tasks, each with a button that opens the screen where you act:
| Reminder | Button |
|---|---|
| Parcels late to ship, parcels to ship | Ship |
| eBay sales to record | Record |
| Listings to take down from a platform after a sale | Take down |
| Late receipts | Review |
| Listing drafts to publish | Publish |
| Items without a value or a cost | Complete |
| Captures to complete | Complete |
| Items in stock for 90 days or more, not for sale | Put on sale |
When everything is done: “Nothing urgent: everything is up to date.” A reminder disappears as soon as its task is done.
The figures
| Figure | What it measures |
|---|---|
| Market value | What your stock is worth today, from the market values you entered. |
| Invested capital | What the stock you hold cost you. |
| Potential gain | Market value − invested capital. An unrealised gain: it only exists when you sell. |
| Realized profit | Cashed sales, fees deducted. |
Potential and realised stay apart
Aeon never adds potential gain and realised profit together. See Market value and profit.
When some items have no market value, the value is marked Partial value and Complete market values takes you to them. Items without a cost or a value are excluded from the potential gain, and it says so.
Trend and breakdown
- Trend: your portfolio value over 1 month, 3 months, 6 months or since the start. The chart builds over time, as you update your market values.
- Breakdown by category: each category's share of your stock value.
- Recent sales: the amount received and the profit of each recent sale.

- Monthly goal: set a profit or revenue goal. See Monthly goal.
- DAC7: where you stand against the marketplaces' reporting thresholds. See DAC7.
- Micro-enterprise: the URSSAF declaration to do and your thresholds for the year. See Micro-enterprise.
