Emails and automatic reading
Connect your mailbox read-only to import your orders and update your parcels.
Your order, shipping and delivery confirmations arrive by email. By connecting your mailbox, Aeon reads them for you: it imports your purchases and updates your parcels.
Read-only
Aeon accesses your mailbox read-only, over secure IMAP. It never deletes, moves or sends anything. Access can be revoked at any time.
Connect a mailbox
Create an app password
With your email provider, turn on two-step verification, then generate an app password dedicated to Aeon. Never use your account's main password. Aeon links to your provider's guide (Gmail, Yahoo, iCloud…).

Enter your email address: Aeon prefills the IMAP settings of Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo or iCloud, or suggests a server from your domain. Advanced settings to change them.
Outlook.com
Outlook.com requires Microsoft sign-in, which this integration does not support yet. Use another compatible mailbox.
You can connect several mailboxes: tabs switch between them. Add mailbox adds one, Disconnect removes the active one.
Read and sort your emails
Emails shows your inbox, 50 emails per page, with a search (order, seller, product…). Aeon recognises order, sale and shipment emails: the Orders, Sales, Shipments and Detected filters isolate them.
An email shows as Preview or Plain text. External images only load if you click Show external images.
Import an order
On an order email, Aeon shows the order detection: number, total paid, items, and a confidence level.
Check the lines
Name, quantity and price of each item. To add a purchase to an existing item, explicitly choose its condition and variant.
Each item is grouped in a card. The existing-item selector takes a full row below the item's fields.
Shipping, fees and discounts
Include shipping, fees and discounts in the purchase cost spreads these amounts over each item, in proportion to its price. The total paid is the amount actually charged.
Foreign currency
An order paid in another currency is converted to euros at the ECB rate, whose date is shown. Replace it with the rate on your bank statement if needed.
Import N lines
The purchase is recorded as ordered, with its number: it shows in Parcels › To receive. The item's note recalls the original email.
An email with no recognised order still lets you Create an item. A sale email does not create a purchase: record the sale from the sold item to keep the real cost.
Update your parcels from your emails
In Parcels (To ship and To receive), the Email tracking panel reads your emails again to update your parcels: shipped, delivered, received.
- Sync runs a read right now.
- Read my emails automatically reads your mailbox every 15 minutes, without you doing anything. The panel shows the last and next read.
- Certain matches are applied and listed in the recent updates.
- Uncertain cases wait to confirm: Apply or Dismiss. The bell lets you know. Nothing changes without your click in these cases.
Aeon never creates a purchase or a sale by itself from an email.
Password refused
If your mailbox refuses the connection (app password revoked, for example), automatic reading stops and the panel asks you to reconnect.
