Shipping profiles
Describe your parcels and the postage price per zone (France, overseas territories, EU, rest of Europe, world), then send them to eBay.
A shipping profile describes one kind of parcel: a card in a tracked letter, a booster box in a parcel, a pair of sneakers… For each one, you set what the buyer pays for postage, zone by zone.
You manage them in Account › Shipping.
The zones
The zones follow eBay's:
| Zone | Countries | Good to know |
|---|---|---|
| France | Metropolitan France | |
| Overseas territories | French overseas departments and territories (Réunion, Guadeloupe…) | eBay treats them as domestic shipping, with a separate service. Customs declaration required. |
| European Union | EU countries other than France | No customs. |
| Rest of Europe | United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway… | Customs declaration (CN22/CN23). |
| World | Every other country | Customs declaration (CN22/CN23). |
A buyer sees the cheapest rate that covers their country: a buyer in Germany sees the EU rate if you opened it, otherwise the rest-of-Europe or world rate.
You can also offer free local pickup.

Describe the parcel
Name, format (letter, small parcel, parcel), weight and handling time. Dimensions are optional.
Open the zones you ship to
For each open zone: the buyer price (0 = free shipping) and, if you know it, the estimated real cost. Aeon then shows your postage margin, or what you pay yourself when postage is free. The real cost is never shown to buyers.
Choose the categories that use it
A category has one profile. The account default profile is used when neither the listing nor its category picks one.
Each additional item in the same order adds an amount to postage for each extra item, so a bundle does not pay postage twice. Excluded countries (two-letter codes, for example RU) only apply outside France.
In your listings
When you create a listing, the Shipping line shows the profile in use: the category's or the default one, or the one you choose. Aeon shows the prices per zone and an estimated net: price + postage − fees (learnt from your past sales) − real postage.
With eBay
Once your eBay account is connected, choose an eBay service for each open zone (Lettre Suivie, Colissimo International…). When you save, Aeon creates or updates an “Aeon · profile name” shipping policy on eBay. Each profile shows its state:
- Synced with eBay: eBay has the same as you;
- Changed since the last sync: it is sent again at the next publication, or with Sync with eBay;
- Refused by eBay: eBay's message is shown under the profile.
If the parcel weight exceeds what the eBay service accepts, the editor tells you. A policy created on eBay or by another tool can be taken over: Manage eBay › eBay policies outside Aeon › Import as a profile.
Optional
A profile without eBay services is still useful for Vinted, Leboncoin or direct sales: it feeds the net estimate.
